Will the items I rent be clean?
At Mindel, we require lenders to clean their items between each rental. Additionally, we’ve partnered with a Brooklyn-based, sustainable laundry service that lenders can choose to send their items to after each rental.
How are you curating a trusted community?
We take trust seriously! Each and every member of the Mindel community will be manually verified and approved by our team to ensure you can confidently share your precious items. Peer-to-peer trust is a top priority, and we’re committed to making Mindel the place you feel most comfortable renting and lending.
What kind of items will be available?
Mindel will have a variety of items, all uploaded by fashion lovers like you. You’ll find clothing, bags, and accessories from a wide array of brands and designers, in a large range of sizes, including both new and vintage pieces.
What happens if my item is damaged?
We’re building a community of women who are thoughtful and will treat your clothing as their own. However, accidents do happen! In the unfortunate case of damage, we will hold the renter’s credit card to cover damages. Think of Mindel as a close-knit community - we’ll handle it just like a friend would. Damage will be assessed on a case by case basis, and Mindel will work to ensure your item is fixed or replaced.
How will I receive my items?
Upon launch, Mindel will have two delivery options: In-person exchange or courier service. The lender and renter will agree upon their preferred methods during the rental request process. Courier services will be handled by our trusted local partner, Carlton!
When is Mindel launching?
Mindel is currently in the Alpha testing phase! We expect to launch in just a few short months :) Sign up for our waitlist to stay tuned and be notified when we go live!
